Prairie Crabapple

Prairie crabapple is a Minnesota native. Prairie crabapple was once abundant throughout the Midwest. This small ornamental tree has showy white flowers and familiar crabapple fruits. This tree is more susceptible to some foliar diseases than other cultivated varieties. This tree is perfect if you are looking for a small native tree or something to add to your pollinator garden! Prairie crabapple attracts many pollinators and is a food source for many animals.
