This evergreen has dense branches and pyramid shape. The thin bark is ashy gray or brown, with needle color varying from deep green to blue green. The brown cylindrical cones appear in late July and may persist on the tree into January. Since the needles will remain, this tree can provide year round privacy and interest.
Plant on the east or west side of your home for maximum energy benefit.
