Chokecherry is a large shrub to small tree native to Minnesota. You'll find this tree along forest edges and roadsides throughout the state, and now you can plant one in your yard! Chokecherry has small white flowers in spring which develop into dark red to black fruit. Chokecherry fruits are tart but can be foraged and used in jams and pies!
Plant on the east or west side of your home for maximum energy benefit.
